Finance Manager - Nigeria and Global Operations (Nigeria based - ₦ 11,000,000 a year)

Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations within both our Nigeria business function and our global markets. This pivotal role includes managing budgets, financial forecasting, viability assessments, and enhancing investor relations to drive our organisation's success. Responsibilities:

1. Budgeting: Develop and manage comprehensive budgets, provide regular variance reports, and adjust forecasts as necessary.
2. Financial Forecasting: Use historical data and market trends to predict the financial trajectory of our operations.
3. Viability Assessment: Analyse the financial feasibility of new initiatives and predict ROI for new features and projects.
4. Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial statements, quarterly summaries, and an annual financial review to inform strategic decisions.
5. Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, and maintain continuous improvement in financial efficiency.
6. Investment and Funding Management: Lead research on potential investment opportunities, manage relationships with investors, and organize funding campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role with knowledge of both Nigerian and international financial practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with financial software and platforms and familiarity with investment portfolio management.
